The Blue Devils were up 19 on UConn in the Elite Eight on March 29 and still looked headed to the Final Four before everything flipped late in a 73-72 loss, capped by Braylon Mullins' game-winner with 0.4 seconds left. It was a stunning finish to a season that felt, for long stretches, like it had one more weekend left in it.
Now comes the part that never waits.
The men's basketball transfer window opens April 7 and closes April 21, and the NBA pre-draft calendar starts pressing right behind that. In other words, Duke does not get much time to sit with the ending before the offseason starts taking shape.
