Penrice and Kosta Nedeljkovic have both signed for the Ibrox side on loan deals, with the possibility of becoming permanent transfers next summer.
The squad to face the Czech side had already been submitted before last week's deadline, but Rangers are able to make two changes before midnight tonight.
In his press conference today, Derek McInnes confirmed that Penrice will be in the squad.
He added that the club are awaiting confirmation that they can add Nedeljkovic.
McInnes said: "They are. James has been registered and we are still waiting on Kosta , but the intention is for him to be registered."
On the Serbian right-back's readiness, he added: "He has been training and playing with Villa throughout pre-season. We have looked at his minutes and training schedule, and he has been active. James came straight in on Sunday and there was an element of risk in that, but he did well. If Kosta is registered in time and called upon, I am sure he will do well for us."
