Argyle took an early lead through Brendan Wiredu but Bradford equalised with a goal from Will Swan in the 72nd minute
Play-off chasing Plymouth Argyle could not come up with the win they needed as they drew 1-1 away to fourth-placed Bradford City.
It was a result which saw the Pilgrims drop to eighth place as they were overtaken by Luton Town, who won 2-0 away to Rotherham United.
Sixth-placed Stevenage also won 1-0 at home to Barnsley so there is a four-point gap between Argyle and the last of the play-off places, with only two more matches to play.
