United have agreed a record-breaking deal with Amazon to throw open their doors for a behind-the-scenes documentary covering the club's 2026/27 season.

United will become the latest club to feature in Amazon Prime's All or Nothing series, and it's understood the deal eclipses the fee paid for the shows involving Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Old Trafford sources believe the deal is a record fee for any documentary covering a professional football club and they will welcome the Amazon cameras in for the start of pre-season and they will follow the entire 2026/27 campaign.

Real Madrid reportedly expect United to sign West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes. The Sun report that Arsenal have cooled their interest in the Portuguese, who has also been linked with Real following the return of Jose Mourinho as coach.

And it is said that Los Blancos are not expected to make a formal approach for Fernandes as United’s interest is already advanced.

Mateus Fernandes won't be overly concerned about West Ham's relegation. He is represented by superagent Jorge Mendes, and has received interest from Manchester United and Real Madrid.

There will be no visits to Lincoln, Preston or Bolton for Fernandes next season. Instead, he will be involved in Champions League nights and visit some of the most culturally rich destinations Europe has to offer.

Nobody could blame him for wanting a potential trip to the French Riviera rather than a visit to the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

The future of Marcus Rashford at Manchester United is reportedly shifting direction, with a permanent switch to Barcelona now looking increasingly likely. Negotiations between the two clubs have been ongoing for months, but with Rashford's £26million release clause now no longer active, a simple transfer agreement has effectively been removed from the table.

Rashford, who spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Camp Nou, had been keen to extend his stay in Spain. However, Barcelona's recent £70m signing of Anthony Gordon has reduced their need for another major attacking arrival.

Although another loan deal has not been ruled out, the expiry of the clause means United can no longer rely on Barcelona to take Rashford - and his £325,000-per-week wages - off their hands.

Because of this, United are expected to take a more proactive approach in the market. Interest in Rashford remains strong, with Bayern Munich and several Premier League clubs reportedly tracking the situation closely following his productive loan spell, which produced 14 goals and 14 assists in Catalonia.

Brazil lost the midfield battle in their opening World Cup game against Morocco. Casemiro looked his age in difficult conditions, but the energy of Ayyoub Bouaddi exacerbated the chinks in his armour.

Despite Bouaddi announcing himself to the world with his skilful performance, he is already on the radar of Europe's biggest clubs.

Manchester United have tracked Bouaddi. That is not unusual, given that most top clubs have sent scouts to report on him, but it raises the possibility that United will make an effort to sign the talented Bouaddi in the future.

United goalkeeper Andre Onana spent last season on loan at Trabzonspor, but appears set to return to his parent club as the next steps are decided.

The fine form of Senne Lammens in his first United season means there's no huge incentive to reintegrate Onana, who broadly saw the bad outweigh the good during his time as first-choice. The challenge is finding a taker for a player who cost around £47m from Inter Milan.

He could yet join Trabzonspor permanently, with the Turkish club's president Ertugrul Dogan appearing optimistic. "I think Andre Onana will stay with the team. We’ve met his financial demands," he told Ajansspor.

Marcus Rashford faces a bruising situation with his dream move to Barcelona in serious doubt. The Catalan giants have until June 15 to activate their £26million purchase option in the loan agreement for Rashford.

The Manchester United academy graduate couldn't have done much more in Catalonia last season, playing a key role in their La Liga title win. But Barca's apparent reluctance to sign him speaks volumes.

Money cannot be used as an excuse after the Spanish champions shelled out almost £70million on Anthony Gordon. Yes, his wages are currently high, but surely there could be a compromise if both parties wanted a deal.

Former United player Antonio Valencia has issued a come-and-get-me plea to Michael Carrick. Valencia, who played alongside Carrick during his decade at United, is currently working at the World Cup as a pundit for Telemundo Deportes.

When asked about whether he would like to join Carrick, the 40-year-old, who left United in 2019, said: "Yes, I would go back. Manchester United is a club that gave me so much.

"My family was very happy there. I would work for Manchester United in any role, out of passion. It is a club I love a lot. I think everything they are doing is going well. But if they called me, I would go running."

We already know United will lose members of the squad, which finished third in the 2025/26 season. Casemiro is one of three senior stars leaving on a free when their contracts expire on June 30, along with Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho.

Brazilian midfielder Ederson appears set to be the first new arrival. The Atalanta star will cost an initial £35m.

TalkSPORT reporter Alex Crook has claimed that Mateus Fernandes is open to joining United this summer. It is said that personal terms are not expected to be a problem.

The deal is reportedly being driven by Jason Wilcox & Kyle Macaulay, with the latter at West Ham when Fernandes signed there and were part of Graham Potter's recruitment team at the London Stadium.

Ederson will edge ever closer to his move to Old Trafford this week with the midfielder set to undergo his medical whilst at the World Cup.

The Red Devils have already struck a deal with Atalanta for the Brazil international, which will see them pay a £34.9million fixed fee plus a further £3.8m in potential bonuses. Ederson has agreed a four-year contract which includes the option of an additional 12 months.

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the latest Manchester United transfer news. The Reds are closing in on their first deal with Ederson set to be unveiled as a United player once a medical is completed.

The Brazilian will be one of at least two midfield signings, with West Ham's Mateus Fernandes looking a real possibility. However, United also face competition from Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain for his signature.
