The best team for Double Gameweek (DGW33) in Fantasy Premier League consists of 11 players who each have two matches in what its set to be the biggest Double Gameweek of the season.

As a reminder, a “Double Gameweek" is when a club play TWO Premier League fixtures in a round of matches, and their players get two chances to score points.

If you are using your Free Hit chip then you could pick this very line-up!

Manchester City are the only club who supply three of those players, with Erling Haaland (£14.4m) joined by Nico O’Reilly (£5.0m) and Antoine Semenyo (£8.2m) for their home match against Arsenal and visit to Burnley.

Meanwhile, there are double-ups from four of the other five clubs who also play twice.

AFC Bournemouth's Marcos Senesi (£5.2m) and Marcus Tavernier (£5.4m) face Newcastle United and Leeds United, with Leeds' Karl Darlow (£3.9m) and Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£5.6m) hosting Wolverhampton Wanderers prior to that visit to the Cherries.

Chelsea duo Cole Palmer (£10.5m) and Joao Pedro (£7.7m) are at home to Manchester United and then visit Brighton & Hove Albion, with Seagulls pair Jan Paul van Hecke (£4.6m) and Pascal Gross (£5.5m) travelling to Tottenham Hotspur before welcoming Liam Rosenior's side to Amex Stadium.

The team lines up in a 3-4-3 formation, with Man City's trip to Burnley, in particular, earning Haaland the armband.

Karl Darlow (Leeds) £3.9m

The Leeds goalkeeper has conceded just a single goal in the last three Gameweeks, earning 16 points thanks to two clean sheets and two save points. Darlow's home match against Wolves looks particularly promising for another clean sheet, with the Premier League's bottom club failing to score in three of their last four away contests.

Nico O’Reilly (Man City) £5.0m

The Man City star was passed fit by Pep Guardiola on Friday afternoon, after being forced off with a knock against Chelsea last weekend. Listed as a defender in Fantasy, O'Reilly has profited from a move into central midfield, scoring four goals and earning three clean sheets in his last five matches to collect 52 points. Hauls of 13, 17 and 14 points in that run shows why O'Reilly is the best armband alternative to Haaland for DGW33.

Marcos Senesi (AFC Bournemouth) £5.2m

Bournemouth's centre-back is among the most consistent players in 2025/26 Fantasy, earning two points for his defensive contributions in 22 of his 31 starts. Senesi's four assists and nine clean sheets highlight his many routes to returns for his pair of matches against Newcastle and Leeds.

Jan Paul van Hecke (Brighton) £4.6m

Brighton's centre-back approaches DGW33 in his most reliable form of the campaign, with just a single blank in the last seven Gameweeks. Van Hecke is also the Seagulls' joint top-scoring player in that spell, earning 38 points thanks to four clean sheets, eight defensive contribution points and two bonus points.

Cole Palmer (Chelsea) £10.5m

The Chelsea star is selected ahead of Man Utd's Bruno Fernandes (£10.3m) as the best premium midfielder pick for DGW33. Palmer is second only to Fernandes among midfielders since Gameweek 22, earning 61 points to the Portuguese's 87. Palmer has averaged 6.4 points per match (ppm) in that spell compared with the 7.9ppm of Fernandes, but with two fixtures to his midfield rival's one, he could outscore the Man Utd captain this Gameweek.

Antoine Semenyo (Man City) £8.2m

The Ghana international is second only to O'Reilly for Fantasy points among Man City players since making his debut for the club in Gameweek 22. Semenyo has amassed 56 points, scoring five goals and supplying an assist and has started in all 10 league matches for his new club. Selected by over 56 per cent of managers, Semenyo offers the safest route into the Man City attack, with Rayan Cherki (£6.3m) a huge differential thanks to an ownership of under 10 per cent.

Pascal Gross (Brighton) £5.5m

While a number of Brighton attackers appear to be rotation risks over their two matches, the German's minutes since returning to the club suggest he is unlikely to be rested. Gross has started each of their last 10 league matches and has played 1,078 minutes, more than any other outfield player. His 48 points are second only to the 50 of Van Hecke in that run and, thanks to his dominance of set-pieces, he has created 24 chances, TWICE the total of any team-mate.

Marcus Tavernier (AFC Bournemouth) £5.4m

At a cost of just £5.4m and owned by only five per cent of managers, the Bournemouth midfielder has the all-round potential to be a great differential. Since he returned from injury in Gameweek 28, Tavernier's 16 shots, nine shots in the box and 10 chances created are all more than any team-mate. Tavernier has also scored twice from the penalty spot this season.

Erling Haaland (Man City) £14.4m

He may have blanked in each of his last four league outings, but Haaland's recent hat-trick against Liverpool in the FA Cup indicates he has finally overcome the injury niggles that have frustrated managers in Fantasy for a number of Gameweeks. The Norwegian produced a combined 25 points in the reverse fixtures against Arsenal and Burnley, showing why he will be the runaway captain favourite for DGW33.

Joao Pedro (Chelsea) £7.7m

The Brazilian's ability to deliver huge hauls, combined with his ownership of over 50 per cent, shows why many managers on Free Hit chips will be pairing him up with Palmer for Chelsea's two matches. Four of Joao Pedro's five double-figure returns this season have come since Rosenior was appointed head coach, including his season-high haul of 19 points against Aston Villa in Gameweek 29.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Leeds) £5.6m

A delve into the team defensive data indicates the Leeds forward can provide outstanding value for DGW33. Calvert-Lewin faces Wolves and Bournemouth sides who both rank among the worst three for conceding big chances - situations where a player is expected to score - across their last four matches.
